Sensory Friendly Shows at The Grand

Bubble rainbows with people inside. Audience members making volcano bubbles! Gigantic bubbles that blow their own bubbles? See the newest, funniest, zany spectacular from world-famous, Guinness Book of World Records-holding, master bubble wrangler Jeff Boyer, as he takes bubbles to the max with big bubble flair. Mixing comedy, music, and interactive bubble-magic, Jeff engages and delights audiences of all ages. It’s a sensory-friendly bubble extravaganza for the whole family! 

The Grand now offers Sensory Friendly Family Programming for children and adults! Tickets are $15 each, or save $3 when you buy three shows. They offer smaller crowds, relaxed attitude to noise and moving around during the show, noise cancelling headphones are available, tablets and other electronic devices are permitted with the use of headphones, sound is lower with no sudden, loud sounds, quite space and a downloadable social story is available.

    All Aboard for this Annual Autism Delaware Family Fun event!

    We have reserved the open air hay ride train car as well as the closed train cars. Candy and non-candy goody bags available.

    Spots are extremely limited and fill fast, keep an eye out for tickets to go on sale! Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the station. Please choose whether you want candy or non-candy goody bag at registration.

    Train departs at 6:30 SHARP.  Arrive 20 minutes before departure.  Once the train departs the station, late arrivals are unable to join our party.

    TIP: Bring a blanket to keep your family warm on the open air hay train!

    Join us at the Aetna Fire Hall, Newark for our annual holiday celebration: Food, gifts, crafts, and a special visit from SANTA! Don't forget to bring a dish to share the spirit of the season!

    There is a small registration fee of $5 per family. If you are unable to pay the fee, sponsorships are available.
