Services
Autism Delaware offers a host of services for our members, including the following:
Connections to Other
Families Living with Autism
In the 10 years that we’ve been in operation, Autism Delaware has
developed an extensive network of caring families who are ready to
help—no matter which county you reside in, what your questions are
or where your child is on the spectrum. You may also want to join
our e-parent support group.
Social Events for Families
Be it bowling or game night, you’ll want to take advantage of these
opportunities to spend time with other families affected by autism.

Education
From packets for parents whose children have recently been
diagnosed, to information about therapies, programs, support groups,
and other resources, to materials written for children only, AD has
a wealth of resources for families trying to put the pieces
together. Contact the office at (302) 224-6020 or
delautism@delautism.org
and someone will get back to you.
Parents Coffee Hour
This monthly get-together allows parents to network in a quiet,
relaxed setting away from the day-to-day stresses of family life.
See our
Calendar for the latest schedule.
Outreach to State Government
and Medical Professionals
AD stays on top of the latest legislation, research and other issues
to keep the needs of those on the autism spectrum and we send
this information to you through our newsletter and GoogleGroups.
POW&R Program for Adults
The Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation (POW&R) program
is designed to assist adults with autism spectrum disorders and
their families find and be successful at employment, volunteer
activities and recreation. Using supports established through
partnerships, AD will assist you and your family to develop a
customized plan and an individual budget based on your choices.
Services are aimed at supporting each individual's ability to live,
learn, work, and play to their fullest potential. Learn more about
POW&R.
