Friends,
Thanks to all the sponsors, celebrities, volunteers, Dupont staff & marshals, and our incredible tournament director, Deanna Principe, for making the 2013 Drive for Autism our best event yet! We had the largest player field in our tournament's history, with 270 players teeing it up on the Dupont and Nemours courses. The pace of play was excellent, and the warm weather was augmented with a breeze here and there. We had some outstanding shot-making on the course, but it was the generosity and spirit of all the players that makes this event so special.
Financially, I'm so happy to report that we raised $506,---!! In addition, we kept our expenses down so low that we generated 87 cents net on every Dollar raised!!! That is an exemplary percentage, and we're very proud of that accomplishment!
We are already planning next year's edition of the Drive! Tentatively scheduled for May 27, 2014 (we'll wait for the NASCAR schedule to be completed before we confirm), we continue to be so thankful for the support and commitment that so many people make to this event, and more importantly, to the autism community.
