Autism Delaware Seeks Corporate
Sponsors, Teams, and Walkers for the 3rd Annual Walk for Autism!
January 1, 2009--The Walk for Autism
(formerly known as Walk the High Road for Autism) is Autism
Delaware’s largest community fundraising event, drawing hundreds
of families, friends, and coworkers each year. The 2009 Walk
will be held on April 25 at Bellevue State Park.
The proceeds raised by the Walk keep
Autism Delaware’s education, awareness, advocacy, and direct
support services going and growing. The goal of this year’s
event is to break $100,000 for the third year in a row! You can
be a part of it by becoming a...
…Sponsor: sponsoring the Walk is a great
way to get exposure to your company or organization. There are
sponsor levels for every organization budget ($100 to $10,000),
and many include opportunities to feature sponsor names on
brochures, T-shirts, posters, etc. ***PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRST
DEADLINE FOR SPONSORS’ PROMOTIONAL BENEFITS IS JANUARY 16, 2009

…Captain: Captains lead and build Teams
through recruiting, encouraging Walker fundraising, and serving
as a liaison between their Team and Autism Delaware.
…Walker: Walkers raise money for their
participation in the Walk, which gets the word out about autism
and Autism Delaware with every request for a donation. Walkers
who raise at least $100 will be eligible for prizes for their
hard work!
…Volunteer: there are lots of volunteer
opportunities before and on Walk day! Contact our Volunteer

… Exhibitor: Setting up a table at the
Walk is a great way to reach out to the hundreds of families at
the Walk. There is a fee of $25 for nonprofits and $100 for
businesses to exhibit.
